1. Make sure you are zoomed into a map of the area you are interested in

2. select: "Track Fires" (in menu above map)

3. select "Check conditions" (in left hand menu)

4. select "Check Clouds"

This will bring up the most recent satellite image of used for detecting hotspots, cut to the extent of your map area, and will show the clouds in this image. It will also show smoke plumes.
