Existing email alerts on the new site


If you have set up email alerts for areas using the old NAFI website, these alerts will work on the new site for the same areas.

If you click on "Manage 'My Areas' and alerts" and then log on to the new NAFI site with your existing username and password, you will be able to manage your existing alert areas from the old NAFI site and they will also be displayed in the "My Areas" list under the View Fire Maps > Areas menu on the left.

Because the zoom-in and zoom-out levels on the new NAFI site work differently to those on the old site, the boundaries of your old alert areas may display differently than they did on the old site, but the alerts are still triggered by the boundaries you set on the old NAFI site.

To prevent very frequent emails, once an initial email alert has been sent the new NAFI site waits for two hours before checking for further alerts.
